Compression moulding of silicone nameplates under heat and pressure

Who the mould belongs to

The mould is cut for your artwork and is dedicated to your design. It is not reused for other customers and is stored against your order, so reorders reproduce the exact part you approved.

What you pay on a reorder

Reorders carry no mould charge. You pay only the unit price and any changed packing or freight. The tooling cost appears on the first order only.

Mould modifications

A new shape or relief needs a new or modified mould. A colour change, print change or packaging change does not — those are production changes, not tooling changes. Tell us what is changing and we will say which cost line it touches.

Reorder lead time

Because the tooling already exists, reorders skip tooling and typically move straight to sampling or production, shortening the clock versus a first order. Confirm quantity and destination and we quote the reorder timeline.

What if you change supplier

The mould is dedicated to your design; if you ever move production, discuss transfer of the tooling with us. The approved sample and mould records stay with your order history.

See the mould cost guide and the order process.

FAQ

Do I pay tooling again on reorders?
No. The mould is dedicated to your design and stored against your order; reorders carry no mould charge.

What if I change the colour only?
Colour and print changes are production changes, not tooling changes — no new mould needed.

Are reorders faster?
Usually yes: tooling is done, so reorders skip that stage and move to sampling or production.

Can the mould be transferred to another factory?
Discuss tooling transfer with us; the mould is dedicated to your design and records stay with your order history.

Minimum order and lead time?
100 pieces per design; sampling 5–7 days; production 12–30 days after artwork approval. Free 3D modelling before tooling.
