Incoming material check
Compound, colour masterbatch and any substrate are checked on arrival against the specification — food-grade silicone is verified to the relevant food-contact standard, and rubber compounds are confirmed to the agreed hardness and grade before they enter production.
In-process inspection
During moulding we check first-off samples, cavity consistency, flash, short shots and colour against the approved sample. Catching deviation at this stage stops a whole run drifting before it is packed.
Final AQL inspection
Before packing, finished parts are inspected to an AQL sampling plan for defects, dimensions, colour and finish. You can request a specific AQL level or a documented inspection report with your order.
Compliance documents available on request
- REACH and RoHS declarations for regulated substances.
- EN71 for toys and child-related items.
- Food-contact test documentation for food-grade silicone (e.g. FDA 21 CFR 177.2600).
These are supplied on request because they are order- and market-specific. Tell us your destination market and application when you brief the project. See colour matching and the capabilities page.
FAQ
Can I get an inspection report?
Yes. Request a documented inspection report and a specific AQL level when you place the order.
Do you provide food-contact certificates?
Food-grade silicone can be documented to the relevant food-contact standard (e.g. FDA 21 CFR 177.2600); request it for your market.
How is colour verified?
Colour is checked against your Pantone or reference swatch at incoming and final inspection.
What if parts fail inspection?
Non-conforming parts are segregated before packing; the approved sample is the reference, so disputes are decided against the part you approved.
Minimum order and lead time?
100 pieces per design; sampling 5–7 days; production 12–30 days after artwork approval. Free 3D modelling before tooling.
